Maria

Maria focuses on delivering high-energy, high quality, customer service. She thrives on engaging with people from all walks of life. Her professional background encompasses many areas of customer service starting with a foundation in retail services, transitioned to corporate support, and she recently wrapped up 13 years as an executive assistant for the K-8 public Charter school in District 300. 

 

On a personal level, as a mother to three adventurous daughters, she has been involved with the Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois. As a family, they volunteer with the Chicago White Sox Volunteer Corps, and other local organizations. It is important to her and her husband of almost 30 years to set an example for their ex children to serve others. Her love of photography brings a keen attention to detail.

 

Maria is a bilingual English/Spanish speaker who receives joy and satisfaction in helping those in need of translation services. This experience as well as her affinity for organization and her love of nature and mindfulness will prove invaluable as an YJT office manager.
